Thankful
Marilyn Thomas reacts to receiving her Thanksgiving turkey and trimmings Nov. 22, 2022 at the Salvation Army Towers Center of Hope food pantry in Jacksonville. According to Social Services Director Julia Bryant, 800 low income households qualified to receive a Thanksgiving dinner, complete with turkey and all the trimmings. The "Can You Care" food drive helped provide the food that involved a mix of 35 businesses and public schools, along with the Salvation Army. "God is absolutely all magnificent," Thomas said. "I don't have to worry about money to take care of food." (Corey Perrine/Florida Times-Union)
